theatrical
experience. This
show is no exception. BRT has truly outdone itself
with Forever

all about. If
you haven’t yet experienced a BRT production -- and
even if you have -- this show should be at the top of your
family’s activity calendar. It’s perfect for
the whole family; kids of all ages will thoroughly enjoy

Forever Plaid
Book by Stuart Ross
Musical Arrangements by James Raitt
May 5 - June 3, 2006
It's the 1950s -- not the rock-and-roll,
ducktails-and-hot-rods 1950s -- but the flip side of the
decade where Perry Como was king and being courteous was
cool.
One of the most popular and successful musicals
in recent memory,
this
deliciously
goofy revue
centers on four male singers killed in a car crash in the
1950s on the way to their first big concert, and now, miraculously
revived for the posthumous chance to fulfill their dreams
and perform the show that never was. Singing in the closest
of harmony and executing their charmingly outlandish choreography
with over-zealous precision, the "Plaids" are
always a smash hit, with a program of beloved songs and
delightful patter that will have you rolling in the aisles
when you're not humming along to some of the great
nostalgic pop hits of the '50s.
Starring Daniel Vincent, Mike Baum,
Patrick Kramer and Sloan Yarborough.
Directed by Laura Skaug with Musical
direction by Jamey Green. Choreography by Billy Ditty,
Costume Designs
by Cat Eberwine, and Specialty Props by Lewis Kempfer. |
