Guys and Dolls has been hailed
as the perfect Broadway musical. It's "the show that
defines Broadway dazzle," according to the New York
Times, or as Newsweek puts it, "this is why
Broadway was born!" Packed with a raffish but lovable
cast of characters from the mythic midtown kingdom of Runyonland,
Guys and Dolls spins the tale of gambling kingpin Nathan
Detroit, his fiancee of 14 years (the persistent Adelaide),
high-rolling rival Sky Masterson and proper mission worker
Sarah Brown, who is destined to reform Sky. The delightful
score is packed with brilliant Broadway standards including
"Luck Be a Lady," "A Bushel and a Peck,"
"I'll Know," "If I Were a Bell," and "Sit
Down You're Rockin' the Boat." Rated G.
Featuring Megan Murphy (Man of La
Mancha, McBeth!, Lucky Stiff) as Sarah Brown, Lewis Kempfer
(I Love You...Now Change, A Chorus Line, McBeth!),
as Sky Masterson, Daron Bruce as Nathan Detroit, Lauri Bright
(A Chorus Line, McBeth!) as Adelaide, and Scott Rice
(McBeth!, Little Shop of Horrors) as Nicely-Nicely.
Directed/Musical Directed by Jamey Green.
