Man of La Mancha
Book by Dale Wasserman,
Music by Mitch Leigh, Lyrics by Joe Darion
October 4 - November 2, 2002
Enter the mind and world of Don Quixote
as he pursues the impossible dream. Against all odds, a man
sees good and innocence in a world filled with darkness and
despair. A lyrical and amusing adventure for the whole family,
Man of La Mancha is a musical treat, featuring the
classic songs "To Each His Dulcinea" and "The Impossible Dream,"
among others. The production was a resounding critical success
when it opened in 1965 and played 2,328 performances on Broadway
making it one of the most successful musicals of the 1960s.
